As summer begins, our focus turns to Dad and how to celebrate Father’s Day. As we begin to return to celebrating in person, we want to make sure Dad knows exactly how thankful and grateful we are for his influence. Talk to Dad about what he likes and wants to do around Father’s day. Here are some great ways to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day
Take Dad out for a Favourite Meal
Most Dads love to eat. Spending quality time with Dad while you both enjoy his favourite meal is a great way to celebrate Dad. Don’t forget to pick up the bill. If your dad is like many I know, this proves more difficult. Some dads have a super power of paying for things before bills arrive. Be sneaky and pay for the meal by getting up to use the bathroom and seek out your server.
Head to the Golf Course
Some Dads love hitting the links. If you’re also interested in golfing, spending time with Dad on the golf course is a great idea. Whether you walk or use a golf cart, spending time together with Dad, doing an activity together is a great way to bond.
Treat Dad to Ice Cream
Raise your hand if your Dad loves ice cream! Most Dads do. Another great way to spend time together with Dad, is to treat him to ice cream.
Take Dad to a Concert
Dads love music. Find out who is your Dad’s favourite band. During the summer months, many bands head out on the road. Check your local concert halls and festivals to see if his favourite band is touring near you.
Ball Game
Dads love sports. Check into baseball, basketball or football games in your area. Take Dad for a day out at the ball diamond or stadium. Pack a picnic lunch or pick up food at the stadium or ball diamond. Dad will love spending time with you, watching a sporting event.
Motorcross, Car Racing or Other Event
Dads love so many different activities that we couldn’t hope to cover all of the activities he might like. Know that there are so many different sports, events and activities that your Dad might want to see and experience. Best advice is to ask Dad what he wants and then make it happen.
Gift Dad Self Care
Dads spend most of their time caring for others. This Father’s Day focus on Dad and gift him self care. This might look like our For Him Kit which contains a Coffee Body Scrub and a Beard and Hair Oil. Dads deserve to practice self care. Consider gifting Dad a Skin Love Kit. This kit is perfect for Dad as it provides great hand and body lotion and face and eyes cream. Dads deserve great skincare that you feel good about.
Spend Time With Dad
Regardless of what you and Dad do together, spend time together. Value the relationship you have. Show him you cherish his influence. Show him you care. Sometimes that means having a pint on the patio.
